PRP, otherwise known as the Vampire Facelift, is fantastic for treating crepe-like lines and slack skin. PRP is extremely safe to use anywhere, as it’s a ‘body own’ physiological product. The procedure involves drawing some of your own blood (just like in a blood test) and centrifuging or spinning it to separate your blood components. The rich platelets, which contain stem cells, are then extracted and re-applied into your skin by our experienced nurses. The concentrated platelets found in PRP contain huge reservoirs of bioactive proteins, including growth factors that are vital to initiate and accelerate tissue repair and regeneration. This is performed using a topical anesthetic.
